You literally can't find a single thing wrong while reading. The way characted acts has a background, a story behind it. To explain exactly why - these 2 manhwas have so many similarities, and while solo leveling is a bitt more exagerated and I still liked it a lot - This manhwa is so balanced and calculated, it is insane how fast you fall in love with it. But hear me out.It is a lot better, than solo leveling even.

As seen where he refused to participate with the other Sadhu in the quest to retrieve Kindred's dead body due to not wanting to endanger himself, with him admitting that the reason why he transformed into a vampire was due to his desire to survive.
As seen from his interactions with the other Sadhu regarding the quest to investigate the Monkey King's Palace, Sol Luna has a very selfish and self serving personality, having stated that he primarily prioratizes his own self-interest and self-preservation in any given situation.
